Otis MFA Public Practice
Founded in 1919, Otis College of Art and Design prepares diverse students of art and design to enrich the world through their creativity, their skill, and their vision. The MFA Public Practice Program is the only educational program in Southern California dedicated exclusively to providing artist with advance skills for working in the public sphere, focusing on both collaborative and individual art production.
Beginning Fall 2017, Otis will offer an Area Emphasis in Social Practice within its MFA Fine Arts program. The enhanced curriculum includes Graduate Studio and Critiques augmented by courses in Collaborative Projects, Topics in Social Practice Art, and Public Realm Seminars.
